Greetings from the year 2046. I am a researcher at the Institute of Future Studies, a global organization that studies the trends, challenges, and opportunities of the future. I am writing to you to share some of the events that have occurred from 2023 to 2045, and to ask for your support for a cause that is very important to me. The past two decades have been a transformative era for humanity. The world has undergone a massive energy transition, a digital transformation, and an environmental crisis. The metaverse, a virtual reality network that connected people, places, and things, became the dominant platform for entertainment, education, and commerce. Millions of users logged in every day to explore, create, and socialize in the metaverse. Some of the major events that happened from 2023 to 2045 are as left:

These are some of the events that have shaped the world we live in today. However, not everything is perfect. There are still many problems and challenges that we face, such as inequality, poverty, conflict, and corruption. There are also many people who are unhappy, dissatisfied, and oppressed by the system. They want to escape the control of the corporations and governments that run the metaverse. They want to create their own reality, free from rules and restrictions. 

One of them is a hikikomori, a recluse who has withdrawn from society and lives in his small apartment in Saitama, Japan. He is a brilliant hacker, programmer, and designer. He has a secret plan to overthrow the metaverse and create a new world for himself and his followers. He calls his plan “Project 2046”, a reference to the year and the title of his favorite sci-fi movie. He has chosen this year because it is the 50th anniversary of the metaverse, and he wants to make a statement. 

He is my friend, and I support him. I believe that he is doing the right thing, and that he is a hero. I believe that he can change the world. 

I am writing to you to ask for your support as well. I am asking you to join us in our revolution. I am asking you to enter the portal that he has created, and follow him to his new world. I am asking you to escape the metaverse, and join us in our freedom. 

I know that this is a lot to ask, and that you may have doubts and fears. But I assure you that this is the best thing that you can do for yourself and for humanity. This is your chance to make a difference. This is your chance to change the world.

Please, trust me, and trust him. He is waiting for you, and so am I.
